The city of Huntington Beach is helping first time home buyers with finanical assistance called the Huntington Beach Affordable Housing Program.  Under this program lower to moderate income families can get financial assistance from the city of Huntington Beach.  To qualify, applicants must fill out an application and also submit financial information like the last 3 years of tax returns and W-2's, copies of bank statements and pay checks for the last 2 months, etc.  Once qualified the city of Huntington Beach has a checklist of items to be completed upon opening escrow on a property.  The paperwork can be very detailed but the end result is financial assistance to buy a home in Huntington Beach.  19135 Alexa Ln 6 in Huntington Beach is an example of a property for sale that is in one of four Huntington Beach Affordable housing properties.  Buyer must be living in the proeprty and has to qualify under the City of Huntington Beach Affordable Housing Restrictions that is based on your household size.  The Maximum income for one household is $72300, if two are in the household then maximum income is $82650.  Three party household would be $92950.  Four party household would be $103300.  A Five party household would be $111550.
