Victorian Homes are beautiful and take us back over 100 years ago when a large majority of these beautiful homes were built.  Many of the large scale historic Victorian homes can be found near the downtown San Diego area in an area called "Bankers Hill."  Driving from the Hillcrest area down to the downtown area on 1st Ave you will find a lot of these historic homes.  These are very large and grand style homes built at the turn of the century.  At the time this was the premier place to live in San Diego with amazing views at the time when these homes were built.
